RCMSEP members celebrated the birth of Lord Krishna, by participating in the Annapoorna (Smile-Box) event with the children and residents of Subhash Nagar Slums. RCMSEP has formed a “Rotary Community Corps” (RCC) in this Subhash Nagar area, and named as RCC – Jeevdani Sevaks, under the able leadership of the local social worker and her team. The event included Pooja, serving of Pav-Bhaji and sweets, distribution of stuffed-toys and Oreo biscuit packets to all the participants. The Pav-Bhaji was sponsored by Satinderpal Singh Ahuja (brother of Rtn. Minishaa Oberoi) while Sweets & Biscuits were sponsored by Ms. Pawan Sharma (relative of Dr. Sunita Sharma) and Rtn. Pinkky Rajgarhiya (Chingari Shakti Foundation) respectively. The local residents especially the children, loved the treat and the toys. The RCC team comprising of Ranjana Tai, Komal, Durva, Neha and other volunteers, actively participated in the event and appreciated the support of RCMSEP.
