Rotary Verified Business Gala Nite

The Rotary Verified Business (RVB) Awards Gala Night was a grand celebration recognizing and accrediting businesses across diverse industries for their commitment to quality, ethics, and excellence. The event was hosted by Rotary Club of Chandivali at Ginger Hotel, Vile Parle. This first-ever RVB event witnessed an impressive gathering of over 125 participants, including 82 RVB awardees. District Governor Dr. Manish Motwani and Chief Guest PDG Satish Madhavan commended the club and organizing team for their outstanding efforts in creating a platform that celebrates credible and responsible businesses. Special appreciation was extended to the District RVB Team led by Avenue Chair Rtn. Nilam Gada and Rtn. Anish Soneja for their excellent guidance and dedication in making the event a resounding success. RCMSEP congratulates its members who were recognized through the Rotary Verified Business accreditation: Arun and Seema Bhoocher, Gurpreet Singh Uppal, Inderjeet Singh and Minishaa Oberoi.

P. Nagesh, Rotary International Director, along with District Governor Rtn. Participation in Rotary Super Chef

On May 24th, 2026, the RCMSEP proudly participated in the Rotary SuperChef event, hosted by the Rotary Club of Sion, at Ramanath Payyade College of Hospitality Management Studies, Kurla. Two teams from our club—Team A and Team B—represented us with remarkable passion and creativity. The team members—Arun ji, Seema, Harsheen, Avneet, Jasbeer, and Simran—put in tremendous effort. Out of 12 groups, we were incredibly fortunate to win the second runner-up position—both our teams came second runner-up! The evening was filled with a fantastic menu, stunning presentations, and a wonderful ambiance. We are very thankful to the Rotary Club of Sion, especially to Club President Mr. Kiran Shetye, for inviting us and giving us this wonderful opportunity. A huge thank you also goes to the judges, who took the time to give us invaluable feedback and support. We are deeply grateful to all our members—your effort, creativity, and teamwork made us so proud. Thank you once again!

Drishtikon - DISCON 2026 - Day 1

DISCON, short for District Conference, is the annual flagship gathering of Rotary clubs within a Rotary district. It brings together Rotarians for fellowship, learning, networking, celebration of service projects, leadership sessions, and entertainment. Rotary District 3141’s DISCON 2026, themed “Drishtikon,” was held on 7th and 8th February 2026 at Hotel Sahara Star, Mumbai, under the leadership of District Governor Dr. Manish Motwani. The conference highlighted inspiring sessions on leadership, artificial intelligence, innovation, and community impact, while also providing opportunities for networking and collaboration among Rotarians and business leaders. The event was appreciated for its vibrant atmosphere, excellent hospitality, engaging speakers, and celebration of Rotary’s spirit of service and fellowship.

KashyapMir-Club Meet, Speaker Session & Fellowship

RCMSEP organized a cultural evening Kashyap Mir-The Forgotten Truth, A Quest for Identity. The program began with the Club Meeting, followed by a Speaker Session. Members participated in the theme of the evening and attended in traditional Kashmiri attire, creating a vibrant Kashmiri ambience. The highlight of the evening was an informative talk by Rtn. Jhankar Gadkari, a TEDx Speaker and Managing Consultant at aeiou Consulting, who explored the historical and cultural narratives of Kashmir. Also, Samidhas Institute of Performing Arts presented a beautiful traditional Kashmiri dance performance by children. The young performers mesmerised the audience with three traditional dances. Guests enjoyed Kashmiri cuisine, and Kashmiri kahwa, which added to the cultural experience. President Minishaa I. Oberoi expressed heartfelt gratitude to all members. Special thanks were extended to Aarti for organizing the venue, Jasbir for the menu, and Amita for organizing the snacks.

Vaisakhi Celebration

The Sikh Cultural Association successfully organized Vaisakhi Night 2026, celebrating the Harvest Festival and the Birth of Khalsa. The event was proudly supported by the Rotary Club of Mumbai Sher-E-Punjab. The celebration was held on Sunday, 12th April 2026, from 7:30 PM to 11:30 PM at Hotel Goldfinch, MIDC, Andheri East, Mumbai. Members, guests, and families attended in great spirit and enjoyed a memorable evening of joy, culture, music, and togetherness. The program featured lively Bhangra and Gidda performances, energetic dhol beats, traditional music, colorful cultural displays, an attractive photo booth, delicious dinner, lucky draw and festive decorations, creating a warm and cheerful atmosphere. The event promoted cultural heritage, unity, and fellowship. It also added excellent visibility for the club and served as a fine club promotion opportunity, showcasing the Rotary Club of Mumbai Sher-E-Punjab’s active presence and community engagement.

Visit to the Biodiversity park

The Rotary Club of Bombays Biodiversity Park, nestled in Mumbai Universitys Kalina campus, is a shining example of collaboration and dedication. Financed by HDFC Asset Management Companys CSR initiative, this one-and-a-half-acre park features a Butterfly Garden, Sensory Park, Urban Bird Habitat, and Miyavaki Forest. The parks serene surroundings, lake, and amphitheater-like facility make it a haven for nature lovers. A perfect spot to unwind and connect with nature, away from the citys chaos. On October 11th, 5 members of the Rotary Club of Mumbai Sher-E-Punjab ( kiran, Sukarma, Pradeep, Deepak ,Sunita Sharma ) had a delightful morning at the park, courtesy an event sponsored by the Rotary Club of Bombay. The group enjoyed a leisurely walk amidst nature, savoring the parks beauty. A delicious breakfast added to the warmth of the morning, making it a fun-filled experience for all. Kudos to the Rotary Club of Bombay and HDFC for creating this environmental haven!

Fireside-Learn How To Make Authentic Khao Suey!

Fireside events provide a way for Rotarians to get to know each other outside of formal meetings and service projects. By sharing common interests in recreational activities, members can build deeper, more meaningful relationships. This sense of community and connection is a core component of the Rotary experience. With this in mind, Rotary Club of Mumbai Sher-E-Punjab organized a workshop for its members to learn the art of making authentic Khao Suey from our dear friend Seema Goyal. RCMSEP members thoroughly enjoyed the fellowship event. It was a fun-filled afternoon of learning and camaraderie with 12 members and 6 guests. Project cost Rs. 6000.

Celebration of Onam Festival (Onamadhuram-2025)

Participating in cultural events and festivals within a Rotary Club fosters stronger bonding and camaraderie among members. Such activities create opportunities for teamwork, shared experiences, and mutual appreciation of diverse traditions. They help build trust, lasting friendships, and a spirit of unity, which ultimately strengthens collaboration for service projects and club growth. It is with this spirit that RCMSEP members participated in the Onam festival celebration (Onamadhuram-2025) as a Silver co-host. The event was hosted by District 3141 led by RC Mumbai Neo and RC Mumbai Horizons. Event included performance of the traditional dance forms such as – Kathakali and Mohiniyattam, followed by the conventional delicious feast served on banana leaf. Team also interacted with the legendary King Mahabali, whose presence holds central importance in the Onam celebration as he symbolizes prosperity, equality, and righteousness. Project worth Rs. 140000 (silver co host)
