Overview
RCMSEP, in collaboration with MET Institute of Pharmacy, successfully conducted a CPR Training Workshop for students and teachers at the MET Institute of Pharmacy, Bandra West, Mumbai.
The session was conducted by Dr. Akshay Mehta, an experienced Interventional Cardiologist, who provided valuable insights into life-saving techniques. The workshop covered important topics such as the difference between a heart attack and cardiac arrest, recognising emergency situations, performing CPR, and the use of an AED (Automated External Defibrillator) machine. A key highlight of the session was the hands-on training. Four CPR dummies were arranged to ensure practical learning, and all students actively participated in performing CPR under expert guidance. The AED machine was also demonstrated, helping participants understand its importance and correct usage during emergencies.
The workshop witnessed the participation of around 150 students and faculty members.
