Minisha Oberoi, was born and raised in Mumbai. An alumni of JB Petit High School, then Sydenham College, she completed her graduation from Montclair State University ( New Jersey) and then pursued her MCom from Mumbai University. Immediately after marriage she joined her husband in building their automobile chemical manufacturing business, while simultaneously raising her two sons. She is a business woman, a dedicated mother, a supportive wife and now a compassionate social worker.In October 2022, with the support of her family, she founded Gur Samarath Foundation with the aim to sponsor and support education to the underprivileged. She has conducted several fundraisers over the past few months ranging from money collection to the 10 Vastra Melas, to the Medicine Donation Drive. Recently she has opened the Gur Samarath Foundation centre in Andheri East where she collects donations of clothes and accessories and then recycles them for the underprivileged.
She has partnered with Aasha Infinite Foundation, Inchpaper and is an active member of Lok Udaan. In 2023,
Minisha joined the Rotary Club of Mumbai Sher-E-Punjab and has been actively working on various projects. She looks forward to a productive year ahead. Her key projects will focus on empowering the underprivileged with support and education, protecting and caring for stray animals and creating awareness about prevention of dementia.
